Filipino-Swedish Integration Project

The Integration Project continues for year 2015!

Last year, with the financing of Lunds kommun, we began the Filipino-Swedish Integration Project, a year-long project composed of different integration-related activities: language education (Språkundervisning), debate and panel discussions (in cooperation with Lund Debate Society), the ‘Filipino-Swedish cafe’ or Filipino-Swedish cooking lessons, and Integrationsdag, a one-day culmination event for Filipino-Swedish integration. For this year, we are continuing the said activities, with one happy addition–“Integration in Watercolor,” a series of watercolor workshops for children and adults, which will be facilitated by artist Rachelle Åstrand, also a member of Sama-sama Sa Lund.

These will be regular events that will be spread throughout the whole year. Specific dates and venues will be announced online. This website and our Facebook page will be updated regularly regarding the individual events. We hope that you will join us in all the activities.. And of course, these events are open and free to everyone, so please invite your friends and colleagues to join!
